  1. Open the file you downloaded and drag Open Portal into Applications.
  2. Open it, and press Sign in. A browser tab does the rest.
  3. Allow Screen Recording when macOS asks. Once, the first time.

Then

Ctrl + Shift + O

Press it anywhere. Draw a box around whatever you are looking at and ask — or just start typing, and the question is about the whole screen. The answer lands where you drew. It lives in the menu bar; there is no main window, and the shortcut is yours to change in Settings.
